Rising Artist Bristol Boards
Rising Drawing Bristol is an uncoated, machine-finished paperboard.
Made with 1% sulphite and acid-free, Rising Artist’s Drawing Bristol is available in two different surface finishes: Plate (smooth) or Vellum (texture).
Bristol is rated by the number of plies it contains. Two and three ply Bristol are the most popular thicknesses.
Bristol is typically used for technical drawing, illustration, pastel and charcoal, as well as silkscreen and other art forms. It is moderately sized for printmaking and makes a great neutral pH drawing paper with two working surfaces, front and back. This quality separates it from illustration board, which has only a front working surface.
