The Peterboro White Core Matboard is available in a range of colours to suit all types of artwork. This high quality economical mat is ideal for artists who desire a bright white bevel but do not need the archival qualities of conservation mats. The surface paper, core and backing paper have all been buffered to a pH level of approximately 8.2. The composition and construction is designed to make it easier to cut, minimize tearing and reduce blade wear.
The surface paper is lignin free. The core is pure white and ensures bright white bevels and v grooves for years to come. The backing paper is designed to keep the board flat. These mats will stand the test of time, resisting the effects of acid degradation and will remain bright.
Not all colours are available at all store locations, but can usually be ordered, within 3-5 days.
