Opus Exhibition Slim Canvases are back-wrapped and stapled for a clean presentation for display without framing. This Canadian-made canvas is 100% pure cotton stretched on ¾" deep basswood stretcher bars. It features 7oz (237gsm) canvas, primed to a finished weight of 10oz (328–385̵gsm). Shrink wrapping ensures a clean canvas for your next creation.

The surface is specially primed for Opus with two coats of acrylic gesso to provide superior results for acrylic painting. For oil painting, we recommend a minimum of two or more coats of gesso for optimum results.

Worked Great!

Awesome canvas to use for a large display piece. I still double primed it, like I do with all of my canvases, and sealed it with a top coat after. Didn't find any warps or bumps in it.

Exhibition Pre-Stretched Canvas -slim

canvas push against the centre spreader bar at the rear. For oil paint an additional coat of primer or gesso are required therefore canvas is not ready to go.
