Exhibition quality, these canvases feature a blend of 55% linen & 45% cotton stretched on 1½"""" deep basswood bars, and are designed for presence and impact. They are primed with 2 coats of clear gesso for a finished weight of 32gsm, and are ready to paint with acrylics. For oil painting, we recommend two or more additional coats of gesso to achieve your best results.

Wooden stretcher bar keys are included with each canvas so you can tighten your canvas to your desired tautness.
