I thought I’d struggle a bit with the transparency but it’s there along with bold intense hues that are aptly named. I like the specialness I’m keeping these for greeting cards & special occasions in particular

I have been using Beam Paints ever since I started thinking about having a travel kit for my plein air painting. Beam Paints have a beautiful selection of colours and a creamy consistency that works well on any form of watercolour and multi-media paper. I like that they are a Canadian business, aboriginal owned, operated by women. I recommend you try them, or at least look at their website and Instagram page - the stories the Anong relates are authentic as well as inspiring.

Sure pleased to see Opus carrying Beam Paint "paintstones". The colours are lovely and saturated, so they last a long time, and some of them granulated beautifully. An Indigenous woman owns the company, and handmakes her green friendly products. They are wrapped in paper or cotton, so no plastics!!
