Eva Waldauf has been an exhibiting Artist in both Vancouver and Toronto for 25 years. Eva creates Collage/Mixed Media Art, Acrylic paintings, Drawings, Lino-block and Mono-prints, and occasional Sculpture/Installation Art. She loves to work in a variety of sizes, but prefers tiny to medium size Art, especially when working in Mixed Media. She has had many solo Art exhibits including showing at the Havana Gallery, Heaventree Gallery and at Gallery Gachet in Vancouver. Eva has had several two person shows in Vancouver and has been in over 50 group Art shows. She has shown in group exhibits in Vancouver and BC, including the Britannia Gallery, Van., Arrowsmith Gallery, Parksville BC., across Canada including Lennox Contemporary in Toronto, Delta Hotel in Frederickton, NB, Struts Gallery, NB and has been in a traveling group show in the US and Europe.

Eva's Art is based on her life experiences, love, family, her broken heart, shattered life, spirituality, sensuality, sexuality and lately her love of and connection to ocean, water and water creatures. Her recent Art includes self portraits, nudes, hearts, Gods and Goddesses and most currently waterscapes (in 2010 and 2011).

Eva had been part of the Vancouver based Avenue for/des Arts collective for the past 4 years. She continues to be an active member, participating in free public workshops, group Art shows and other events. Supported by the AVA group, Eva curated and organized the Poetry and Art collaboration show and event called Tempestuous Words & Lush Images in 2009. Artists and Poets created new Art in response to each others work. Each Artist worked with a Poet. AVA group members were in the show as were Poets from both Pandora's Collective and the Vancouver Poetry Slam. The website for AVA is www.ava-artists.org

Eva was a member of the Gallery Gachet Coop in Vancouver for 31/2 years and was chair of the exhibition committee for almost 2 years. As exhibition chair she co-curated and installed group Art exhibits and organized the exhibition committee. She also participated in many group Art shows and had a solo there.

Eva curated and installed The Divine Feminine Art Exhibition in 2006. It took place at Radha Yoga & Eatery. It was a show of 31 Artists from BC, who work in in a large variety of media ranging from photography to painting, to fabric Art.

Eva has been teaching adults for 9 years at the Vancouver School Board, Community Centres, Galleries, studios and private classes in her studio in Vancouver. She has taught Collage, Acrylic Painting, Sculpture and "How to Exhibit Your Art: Tips For New Artists". She has most recently taught in both the Summer and Fall 2010 "Cut, Drawn and Painted: Collage for Adults" at the Clayzone Gallery at 661 East 15th Ave., Vancouver. She taught "Cut, Drawn and Painted: Collage for Adults" again in January 2011 at Clayzone Gallery.

Eva will be teaching starting April 4, 2011 "Paper, Fabric, Drawing and Paint: Collage for Adults" at a new location at The Artway Art Studios at 649 East 15th @ Fraser. The course runs for 5 weeks. For more information about The Artway Art Studios go to www.theartway.ca

Eva has also been a Poet from the past 9 years. She has been writing Poetry about her life, spirituality, sexuality, love, heart break, nature, death, life and God. She performs her Poetry in Vancouver, in BC and occasionally in Toronto. She has been the featured Poet at 5 Poetry events in Vancouver and area, including Poetic Justice, Art of Word, Twisted Poets and at Poetry Around the World. She has been published in two local Poetry anthologies "Poets and Painters" published by Blurb.com and "say forty stick 'em up shorty" published by Pooka Press 2009. Eva published her first Poetry chapbook "Howling Heart" in January 2011. Eva most recently had her Poem "Hot Cherry Man" published in Quills Canadian Poetry Magazine 2010.
