Deborah Putman fine art

Deborah Putman, a professional visual artist, has exhibited paintings across Canada, in France and Japan. Deborah's work ranges from portraits to conceptual paintings, community-engaged workshops, public art design and creation. Current series of drawings and paintings explore our human relationships with flora and fauna in the bio-network.

She was chosen as an artist representative in Ottawa for Surrey as Canada's Cultural Capital in 2008. Deborah and Connie Glover created the Kwomais Point Park Mosaic public art project for the entry plaza of the park in 2011-12.

Deborah has a studio in Surrey, B.C. She graduated with a Fine Arts degree from Concordia University in Montreal. Her education also includes semesters at Emily Carr, Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and the American Institute in France.
