catherine p robertson

45 years drawing and painting
30 years teaching above

Cruising and exploring coastal and forest areas of British Columbia for a
lifetime result in paintings of this beautiful land and its flora/fauna.
The idea behind most paintings is to encourage protection and an appreciation
for wildlife and habitat and what is, without this protection, all too fast disappearing to development.
Catherine has won many awards for her work which, like most painters, involves
light and how it affects color and form. Strong composition is a very important consideration in her work.
She is a member of the South Surrey White Rock Art Society, Federation of
Canadian Artists and an honorary member of the Drawing Society of Canada.
She lives and teaches in her home city, White Rock, BC.
