So, you want to demystify colour mixing but the colour wheel seems daunting! This one day workshop is for you. At the end of the day you will understand the basic principles of colour theory, giving you a clear action plan as it can be hard to know where to begin or where you have been going wrong. A sense of humour is required for this one day workshop.

Supply List: 
  • Supply List Bring whatever is in your paint box, the following colours would be the best to bring! Cool Yellow - Lemon or Hansa Warm Yellow - Cadmium Yellow medium Cool Red - Alizarin Crimson Warm Red - Cadmium Red, light or medium Cool Blue - Cobalt Blue, genuine if possible, as hues are not pure Warm Blue - Ultramarine Blue Titanium White -opaque Zinc White - transparent Black - whatever you have, if you have more than one, bring the others. Several brushes, flats or filbert. Canvas paper - 11x14 min Green painting tape Oil painters - only OMS Acrylic painters - 2 sm water containers Rags or paper towels Note book, pencil, ruler. Most important - Sense of Humour.
