Richard Wong is a professional wildlife artist from Victoria, BC. His signature style of watercolour on Japanese art paper paintings are a unique blend of Chinese brush and contemporary Western ways of making art.

Originally from Saskatchewan and born in Hong Kong, Richard has been painting since 2010 when he received an art kit from his wife as part of a gift package. His fascination with our west coast wildlife is reflected in his work, and this passion has taken him to Australia and back as part of an international art residency in 2014. Richard’s paintings are widely recognized and collected.
