Location:
Langley
Sat, February 9, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Sat, February 9, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

February 7, 2019 – Please note: The 2 PM demonstration has been cancelled. There is still space in the 11 AM demonstration.

Join this demonstration to learn about the versatility of GOLDEN's OPEN Paints!

Learn how to experiment with monoprinting, collographs, silkscreen, and more with these versatile paints! OPEN Acrylics are a slow-drying paint with a slightly softer consistency than our Heavy Body paints. The increased working time of these colors expands their range to include more traditional techniques once only possible with oils. We will also discuss OPENs uses for Plein Air painting.

Space is limited and registration is required. Please visit Opus Langley or contact them at 604‑533‑0601 to register.

Shari Pratt is a Canadian born artist who works predominantly in the medium of painting, but often includes found photography and artefacts in her installations. Pratt completed an MFA at the Vermont College of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Art Education Major from the University of British Columbia. Pratt has shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout BC, Canada, and the United States. She is currently interested in the correlation between the reconstructive memory process and the way in which we interpret things. www.sharipratt.com
