Join Barbara as she demonstrates how to paint expressive oil paintings with a painting knife!

Barbara will demonstrate various techniques including the creation of texture, smoothing, interesting colours, and balance using a variety of palette knives. She will discuss the pros and cons of using palette knives instead of paint brushes. You will see the steps that she takes to create a finished work. Whether you paint landscapes, figures or nonrepresentational work, the use of a palette knife can add interest and strength to your work - they're great for using outdoors too!
