Paint Small, Paint Fast with Sheila Tansey

Location:
Kelowna
Sat, December 14, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Note – Dec 3, 2013: This demonstration is now full and no further registration will be taken. Thank you for your interest!

If you want to have a sense of completion, to de-cluttering your thinking and to focus on the process of painting (that is...just do it!), then try painting small and fast. Stop thinking about details and just concentrate on the basics.

Sheila will paint from a still life set up and/ or a photograph to show you how to simplify the painting process using shape, value, colour and composition.

Sheila Tansey currently paints with acrylics and her intention with her art is to make a connection with the viewer using colour and expressive brushstrokes. Sheila volunteers at the Lake Country Art Gallery, has shown her work in a number of local venues, is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and is on the Executive for the Central Okanagan Chapter. She also writes and maintains her own website and blog at
