The "Oh Wow" of Watercolor Painting with Michelle Droettboom

Sun, February 18, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Sun, February 18, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

During this demonstration with Michelle, learn to drip, pour, mask, stamp, and ink our way into a beautiful scene of pine boughs and trees! It’s always fun to experiment in watercolor because your results are so instantaneous. You might think pinecones are hard to paint…but not if you make a stamp! And you might think pine needles are challenging…but not if you use a touch of negative painting and a little ink!

Come join Michelle and get your creative juices flowing. With watercolor you just never know when that “oh wow” moment might happen.

Space is limited and registration is required.

Michelle Droettboom has been an enthusiastic painter and teacher in watercolor since 1995. For over 40 years Michelle worked as a speech-language pathologist using her creativity to focus on preschool children with Autism during the day, and as an enthusiastic self-taught painter in watercolor during any available minute at night. Recently retired, it is now time to play, experiment, and create fabulous art! Her love of experimentation enables her students to try new ideas and gets the creative energy flowing.
