Kristi’s distinctive sepia palette evolved after searching for earth-friendly mediums. The vintage quill pen and ink technique brings an ethereal, antique feeling to the works, echoing Victorian illustration, cloisonné enamel or stained glass. One can see influences of her Métis ancestry, the Impressionists, and Eastern mandala artists in her children's books, environmental projects, fine art canvases and mandalas.
