Sat, May 19, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Sat, May 19, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Join Michelle Droettboom as she shows you how to create beautiful images with Zentangle inspired structured patterns and how to combine it with ink and watercolours.

Once you learn to create patterns you will begin to see repetitive patterns everywhere. We will also talk about how easy it is to use these patterns and ideas to create wonderful travel journal tiles inspired by what you see around you. Join Michelle for this hands-on workshop by simply bringing a black pen and white paper.

Learn how fun and relaxing drawing patterns, and light watercolour washes can be!

Space is limited and registration is required.

Michelle Droettboom is an enthusiastic painter and teacher in watercolour. For over 40 years Michelle worked as a speech-language pathologist using her creativity to focus on preschool children with Autism during the day, and as an enthusiastic self-taught painter in watercolour during any available minute at night. Now retired, it is time to play, experiment, and create fabulous art! Her love of experimentation enables her students to try new ideas and gets the creative energy flowing.
