Finding Your Voice Part 1 with Johnny Taylor

Downtown Vancouver
Sat, September 15, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

September 11, 2018 – Please note: This demonstration is full and no further registration will be taken. Thank you for your interest!

What does it mean to find your voice? How do you do it? Johnny will share how he found his artistic voice and how you can too. He will focus on the importance of understanding your materials, with materials as the means to expressing your voice. He will explain how to find and know where you and your work are situated historically: what past artists are influencing your work and your voice and what present artists are creating in a similar fashion. Johnny will present several methods for finding your voice and how understanding your voice and vision will help you break into the art world, share with other artists and get your work out there.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Downtown Vancouver or contact them at 604‑678‑5889 to register.
