Sat, February 16, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

February 15, 2019 – Please note: The 12:00 PM demonstration is now full and no further registration will be taken. Thank you for your interest! Note: there is still room in the 2:30 PM demonstration.

Bring your questions & enjoy some time with Irma as she paints & talks informally about her work, her techniques and letting go.

Using acrylic paint and a palette knife on 18" by 36" & 12" by 24" canvases, Irma will demonstration her abstract landscape techniques. See how the placement of the horizon line and changing the sky from blue to clouds and storm colours changes the painting.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Victoria or contact them at 250‑386‑8133 or toll free 1‑800‑524‑6555 to register.

Irma grew up on a small Saskatchewan farm where the prairie is never just background - nature dominates. Blizzards, thunderstorms & the over reaching sky instilled in her a feeling of freedom, limitless space & room to explore. Her predominate memory is a feeling of independence & the sky's overwhelming presence.
