Spring is a great time to create new creatures and then share them with friends over social media!

Join illustrator Angela Gooliaff to discover how social media inspires some of her most inventive creatures by mixing word prompts found in Instagram drawing challenges. This demonstration will expand your creative comfort zone enabling more wild and wacky creations.

Also learn where to find these daily drawing prompts to then share your own zany sketches online with the larger Instagram artist community using the proper hashtags and handles. Get ready to be inspired, create, and share for National Pencil Day on March 30th!

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Langley or contact them at 604‑533‑0601 to register.

If Beatrix Potter and Edward Gorey were to have collaborated, the results might have looked similar to one of my illustrations. I love cute but slightly creepy creatures; and I also like science and art, pretty and ugly critters, and realism mixed with fantasy. Sensing a trend? It is true! Opposites – sprinkled with parody – make the most interesting subject matter to portray on paper. These drawings can be found daily on my Instagram account @antartist. You can also see my giant colouring book murals and my charming children’s book A Fun Food Friends Adventure online at: www.angelagooliaff.com
