Would you like your marks to be strong and confident? You know practice means confidence, but what to practise. Join Wendy Mould for tips and techniques that will bring more drama and depth into all your mark making, whether it be paint, pencil or pen. Using the sharp line of ink, Wendy will draw one of her herons that find their way into her work. Starting first with Gesture and Shape, then moving to Contour Lines and Refinement, she will bring her subject to life. With her process she will demonstrate how your mark contributes to: Patterns, Darks, Lights, Edges, and more. Drawing is Wendy’s passion and one she loves to share.
Wendy Mould, AFCA, CDM is a wildlife artist, instructor, presenter and active member of the Fraser Valley Art Scene. Creating “things” has always been a big part of her life; she started with fiber and fabric but once she found drawing, she knew she had found her true voice. The birds and animals that Wendy sees on her camping and hiking trips are her favourite themes. Bringing nature to life in graphite, ink and watercolour is her goal. Wendy is an experienced teacher and instructor offering private drawing lessons for all ages. More of Wendy’s work may be seen at www.artbywendy.com and on www.artbywendysblog.blogspot.ca
