Portraits of People and Animals in Acrylic with Mandy Harding

November 02, 2019

Description

Saturday, November 2 10:30AM – 12:00PM
Saturday, November 2 2:00PM – 3:30PM

Get inspired to paint yourself and explore your own character. Mandy Harding will be bringing a table mirror to have her face right there to stare at. Start putting down lines, and she doesn’t mean wrinkles – you will learn to look at line and form and forget about subject matter. Learn how to convey the image of oneself with personality through painting. Using gestural action make the viewer feel emotion from what they view.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus North Vancouver or contact them at 604‑904‑0447 to register.

Mandy Harding is a British/Canadian artist who lives in Edgemont Village with her beautiful family and dog called Bumble. She has been painting for thirty years starting in her farmhouse in Charente, France where she lived with her horse and lived off the land. Her reason for painting is she finds life beautiful and wants to record it in her own personal way. I want to achieve with this demo is to think about what your looking at and to achieve an emotional response from the viewer.
