We all love roses, don’t we? And when we see just one beautiful rose we want to paint it. Come see how to paint just one rose using just one primary and just one complementary secondary hue. Painting with dye on silk is an ideal medium for capturing the shimmering glory of a rose. This demo will focus on the benefits of using a limited palette, together with exploring the technique of indirect painting using a wash of complementary colour for highlights and shadows.
