Well, here’s a great workshop for you! A gentle, inspiring introduction to the world of botanical ink drawing lead by professional artist Sarah Clement.

In this fun and informative workshop we’ll explore the fundamentals of drawing botanicals. Through a series of exercises, we’ll discover how to create value, shapes, textures, light & shadow with ink. We’ll practice drawing different petals and leaves and then apply everything that we’ve learned to draw a beautiful floral wreath.

WHO’S IT FOR?

• anyone who is interested in learning how to draw botanicals with ink! It’s perfect if you’re a beginner, as we’ll be covering some basic techniques, but there’s also room if you’re more experienced.

• paper or sketchbook

• Pens: I definitely recommend a fineliner (my favourite are Microns) but any brand will do

• pencil and eraser

• optional: compass or something round you can trace to create a circle for the wreath
