About This Experience
In this demo, Reha Sakar will have you contemplating composition. You will witness how dark pigments bring focus to light and, as a result, capture the mood in a painting. Reha will also demonstrate how to stay loose in one's painting style while staying precise. Prepare to have fun and learn to brave the world of watercolour painting!

Holbein or Daniel Smith Watercolours: Chinese White, Paynes Grey, Dioxazine Violet, Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre, Cobalt Turquoise Light, Cerulean, Ultramarine, Lavender, Indigo, Transparent Pyrrol Orange, Horizon Blue, Jaune Brilliant no 1 and 2
Watercolour Paper: 100% Cotton CP or Rough 140lbs
Brushes: Mop brush, Rigger, Round, Flats - various sizes
About Your Host
Reha Sakar grew up exploring painting and art in his mother's art studio. In university, he studied astronomy before realizing his greatest passion was art. Upon this realization, Reha’s mother encouraged him to take a few courses in 3d and Photoshop in 2002. He has been working in the gaming and movie industry since 2004. After school, Reha moved to Canada in 2008, where he still resides. Reha Sakar started watercolour studies at the end of 2018 and is building his career as a watercolour artist. He also works as a Matte Painter for multiple TV series: My Little Pony, Spidey and His Amazing Friends.
