We at Opus are so pleased that British Columbians have slowed the curve of COVID-19 – and that we did it together. We are saddened by the people that we lost to this pandemic, and know there is still a long way to go before we are through this. We are committed to doing our part to maintain the health and safety of you, our customers, and our staff.

Our team at Opus would to like to share our gratitude for being able to support and serve you and all the people in our creative community during these very difficult times. We have worked hard to provide the art supplies you need through our online store as well as our Call or Click & Collect services in as safe a way as possible. You have been very patient with us and we are thankful to have been able to support you with the spirit and joy that art brings to our communities.


First, we want you to know that our on-line store as well as our Call or Click & Collect will continue. We have heard from a number of you that these services have been important to your health and safety, and in light of this, will continue to offer to prepare your order for you to pick up at our stores.

All Opus stores have re-opened as of June 2, 2020 with all of the health and safety measures recommended by the government in place, including:


  • All Opus staff will be provided with personal protective equipment including face masks, hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies
  • Protective plexiglass partitions have been installed at every Opus checkout station
  • All counters, surfaces, door handles, point of sale machines and other high-touch areas will be cleaned after each customer interaction
  • All products for sale will be handled by Opus Staff only, and if handled by a customer, items will be sanitized before being returned to stock
  • At the end of every day, we will do a thorough cleaning of our stores

Beginning May 19th, we introduced a separate Call or Click & Collect Pick-Up area for those customers who have phoned in their orders or ordered Click & Collect purchases online. This will help speed up your pick up, and create a traffic flow that is conducive to social distancing practices.

Our Marketing and Purchasing teams, along with the Warehouse team, are working hard to ensure we meet your needs and to support our creative community to help keep you inspired, educated and engaged.

We appreciate, in advance, your patience as we navigate our way through this in as safe a way as possible for us all.

Even though our stores have re-opened, we will continue to offer no-contact shopping methods including Call & Collect, Click & Collect, and Online Orders for Delivery for the artists who would prefer to shop online or call in their order for curbside pick up.

Here’s a look at how these options work:



Call or email your preferred Opus retail location to place an order for pick-up.They’ll gather the items you need, take payment over the phone, and schedule a pick-up time for you.

With the exception of our Downtown Vancouver location, all store hours will be:
Tuesday – Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm

Opus Downtown Vancouver is temporarily closed.



Place your order online for delivery to your home. Choose to ship your order to the address we have on file or send it as a gift to a loved one. FREE SHIPPING for orders over $50 (before taxes) within BC and AB.*

Our National Mail Order Department is open for orders placed by phone and for assistance with online orders everyday from 10 am – 4 pm
