Curious about oil painting? Then this is the demo for you! It will introduce you to the key elements and information that a beginner painter should know about Oils. We will review how oils differ from other mediums, how to choose a colour palette, tools, mediums and safe clean up. Don’t be shy, join us for this introductory session.

Robert’s demonstration will feature the use of Open Acrylics and will show how a painting is developed, a useful palette and the particular characteristics that make this medium useful for plein air painters.

Robert, who also goes by Bob, is an award winning widely collected artist and signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. He paints in a broad range of media including oils, acrylics and watercolours. While he is away from his paintbrush he presents workshops and demonstration paintings throughout the community.
