October is Mixed Media Month at Opus Kelowna—three Sundays of staff demos showing the development of a project from surface preparation to finished work.

During this hour, we will explore and prepare our painting surfaces with various papers by using acrylic mediums to create textures and adhesion in preparation for adding objects. Opus carries over a 100 different handmade decorative papers from the areas of India, Japan, Thailand and more.
