Just Add Colour

Colouring books have grown up!

A relaxing, therapeutic, and remarkably fun activity, colouring books have made a comeback with adults worldwide. We visited Vancouver artist Sandeep Johal in her home studio to talk about this creative craze and how it is influencing artists and newcomers alike.

Sandeep primarily works in ink, which she uses to create stunning black and white, and coloured mandalas. After noticing the sudden boom of adults colouring, Sandeep decided not only to create her own colouring book, but to also release some of her black and white mandalas as free downloads on her website. Anyone can download the PDF's, colour them in, and share their results!

Watch Just Add Colour above and discover how colouring can be fabulous for both your focus and relaxation, and a perfect way to experiment with a host of materials. We all deserve to feel like a kid again —  re–discover your childhood love of colouring, today!

Download and colour this FREE mandala PDF by artist Sandeep Johal. This is the same mandala you see her creating during the video!

Don't forget to share your colouring triumphs using #opuscolour on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
