Alfonso’s background in art began with pursuing architecture as a career path, where sketching and watercolor ‘‘en plein air ‘’ became a weekend break from his five year long studies. His artistic inclination has continued to develop since his early years in Mexico, through his professional life in Canada as an Architect and Urban Designer by trade and now, as an international artists organizing exhibition and workshops abroad in Italy & Spain art has become a complementary part of Alfonso’s life.

Artist Statement: “Art is not a hobby, rather for me it is a life commitment to help show others how to see magnificence in the ordinary and share with them the discoveries of our lives. Drawing, sketching and painting are the tools I use to communicate and explore ideas in my everyday professional life. Furthermore, they are the ways by which I have learned to see the surrounding world.”
