How it Looks: Trends and Techniques in Contemporary Framing, Hanging and Presentation with Pennylane Shen

Location:
Downtown Vancouver
Sat, May 13, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Discover how the way a piece is presented is a crucial part of the final product.

In the commercial art industry, it can often make or break a sale. When developing an exhibition, considering the space, the order and how the work is displayed is essential to the total experience.

This is a condensed seminar covering contemporary styles and trends in framing, hanging, labeling and presentation of artwork.

Pennylane will be introducing attendees to professional techniques for displaying artwork. She will discuss mat board, frames, how to use a point driver, archival tapes, as well as demonstrating archival preservation and display of artwork. Pennylane will also touch on contemporary trends and techniques in framing and presentation as well as how to care for and handle artwork.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Downtown Vancouver or contact them at 604‑678‑5889 to register.
