Exhibiting in Public Art Galleries with Jeff Wilson

Downtown Vancouver
Sat, May 20, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

Canada's public galleries offer a range of exhibition opportunities for both emerging and established artists. However, the application process can be difficult, opaque, and ultimately dispiriting.

Jeff will discuss how to assemble a professional application and give yourself the best shot at acceptance by public galleries. Discussion points will include: Artist-run Centres (ARCs), Public Galleries versus Commercial Galleries, CARFAC artist fees, the application process and benefits of exhibiting in public galleries.

A slideshow featuring Jeff's artwork and information about public galleries will also be featured.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Downtown Vancouver or contact them at 604‑678‑5889 to register.
