Creating Texture with Cold Wax with Agata Teodorowicz

Location:
Coquitlam

Sun, February 4, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Join Agata as she demonstrates how to add beautiful textures to your oil painting by using cold wax.

Cold wax medium is a mixture of pure beeswax and other additives that create a translucent compound ideal for mixing with oil paints. Unlike encaustics, this medium is mixed straight into paint and should not be heated. Its volumnist nature acts as an impasto medium and can also be used as a matte protective coating as well!

Agata will be using both Gamblin Cold Wax and Dorland’s Cold Wax to show you how you can incorporate cold wax to your paintings and create wonderful textures.

Space is limited and registration is required.
