“Know when to walk away, know when to run” - Kenny Rogers, “The Gambler”

Some of the most beautiful aspects of watercolour paintings happen when the paint is allowed to do its thing. When we are disappointed with the results, it is often because we are trying to make watercolour do something it can’t.

Discover how brush, paint and paper selection play a role in setting you on a path to success. While creating a simple landscape, Ian will explain how these factors affect the planning and execution of what it is you are trying to paint. Wash techniques, brushwork, lifting colour and the all-important topic of timing will be covered.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Coquitlam or contact them at 604‑545‑0410 to register.
