April 20, 2018 – Please note: Both of these demonstrations are now full and no further registration will be taken. Thank you for your interest!

Join Kelly for a demonstration of how he creates vivid artwork using color, light and shadow.

He will go over the importance of underpainting, the value of blocking in your imagery in tonal values and primarily adding color to create unique landscapes. Whether working from images on your computer or photographs of local scenes, attendees will feel inspired and informed on how to represent them on canvas.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus Victoria or contact them at 250‑386‑8133 or toll free 1‑800‑524‑6555 to register.

Completing his BFA in ’91, Kelly is a Victoria Artist attempting to bring to life a vision of colour, shadow and light in his paintings combining the bold strokes and colours of Impressionism with a contemporary representational painting style of the West Coast and beyond.
