Fran has been interested in many different medias in fine arts and also many craft items since a youngster. Besides being an artist, she is a wife, mother, grandmother, and fly fishing woman. She enjoys outdoor activities, nature, flowers and photography. Everything informs her work. Recently, looking to explore abstraction in painting, she came across alcohol inks and was fascinated by the vibrancy of the colors and the fluidity of the medium. This was in in October of 2016. Since then it has been the focus of her art.
