Encaustic employs all your senses; vivid and transparent wax visually draws you in. Painting with wax has an immediacy that is satisfying; building layers of texture invites the sense of touch. Beeswax has a sweet and organic smell. The partnering with bees in creating art completes a spiritual circle with nature. Art can be viewed at James Hibbert Pottery Studio Naramata
