1st Annual Sculpture Challenge for Richmond Kids

Children ages 10 - 15 who live in Richmond are invited to enter this 1st Annual Event. You must create, outside of the classroom, an environmentally friendly modern sculpture made from re-used, recycled or re-purposed materials.
It must not be larger than 2 ft. high and 1 1/2 Ft. wide, be free standing and sturdy. There will be 2 categories, junior ages 10-12 and senior ages 13 - 15.
THERE IS NO CHARGE TO ENTER THIS EVENT.
Submitted entries, maximum 1 per person, will be accepted on a first come first accepted basis provided that the entry form is completed in full and a photo of the sculpture and description is complete. 40+ entries will be accepted.
The accepted pieces will be displayed in the atrium and Richmond city hall from March 13 - 23 and there will be six cash awards given, 3 in each category.
